Are you in a rush to create a card for special event? Here is a simple and easy stencil technique that makes a simple card look elegant. This will work with any stencil you have in a pattern.
Just stencil on a A2 card panel or whatever size your choose to work with and use three ink colors that are close to each other in the color wheel.
I chose to use Distress Ink from Tim Holtz, in the color Salvage Patina, Shaded lilac, Tumbled Glass. I just inked up different sections of the stencil in no particular order .
I took a color card stock, stamped a sentiment (sending lots of hugs) and Heat embossed using VersaMark Ink and Gina K embossing powder.
I placed the sentiment on the desired location that I thought fit best. I then used waffle flower A2 layering, dies to cut my card panel and matted it on the same color card stock, I used for the sentiment.
I added some sequences to step up the stenciled design just a little bit and there you have it an easy simple card.
Unfortunately, this is a card that I created before I started YouTubing so there is not a video but I will definitely show this technique again with different stencils.
Thanks for stopping by!
