As I continue to step, my little toes into piecing dye cuts together this card turned out to be pretty fun to make.

I admit that this was not the original design. I will re-create what I was attempting to create in the first place, but I definitely made my mistake into a masterpiece.

Using a Sizzix thinlet die I was able to create this mini slimline card with just a little inking of the background, Heat embossed some snowflakes on top and stepping up the embossed stamping with glittery embossing powder.

I placed my die cuts, one top and another at bottom to help fill the space.

The sentiment included a word die and a shadow die which die cut out of vellum and red card stock and the sentiment out of black card stock. The vellum shadow layer allows to soften the red look on the card to not add too much red to this design.

For my visual learner there is a video on my youtube channel with supplies. Click Here

I hope you enjoy this technique and Im looking forward to seeing what you came up with.
